Additionally, OSHA training provides essential knowledge of <br /> workplace safety regulations, ensuring trainees understand the standards employers must <br /> uphold. <br /> Analytical Skills at the Workplace: Hope Builders does not offer standalone workshops on <br /> analytical skills in the workplace; however, these skills are integrated into industry-specific <br /> training programs. <br /> Health Resources: Although Hope Builders does not offer specific workshops on Health <br /> Resources, our Employment Readiness Specialists/Coordinators provide one-on-one assistance <br /> and guidance related to mental health and well-being. Youth are encouraged to utilize these <br /> resources to address any challenges they may face during their training and transition to <br /> employment. <br /> Professional Communication Skills (verbal, written, physical): Throughout the training period, <br /> Employment Readiness Specialists/Coordinators conduct weekly 1-hour employment readiness <br /> workshops to develop professional communication skills. These include 14 lessons on interview <br /> skills, one mock interview, one lesson on resume writing, one lesson on written communication <br /> etiquette, one lesson on writing a resignation letter, and one lesson on effective <br /> communication and accountability. <br /> Navigating the Workplace: Employment Readiness Specialists/Coordinators conduct weekly 1- <br /> hour employment workshops on workplace navigation, covering key topics such as <br /> performance management (1 lesson), workplace communication and code-switching (1 lesson), <br /> workplace development through the "Sole Survivor" activity (1 lesson), and the process of <br /> resigning from a job (2 lessons). <br /> Civic Engagement & Leadership Development <br /> Civic Engagement & Leadership Development Opportunities: Hope Builders provides education <br /> on voter registration. Additionally, the organization incorporates limited leadership <br /> development within its "Workforce Readiness" framework, which focuses on key soft skills such <br /> as Accountability, Initiative, Attendance, Productivity, Cooperation, and Grit. Employment <br /> Readiness Specialists/Coordinators meet bi-weekly with youth to assess and support their <br /> growth in these areas, which are critical for a successful transition into the workforce. As part of <br />
