program like Rebuilding Careers for Youth enables partners to connect out-of-school youth to <br /> comprehensive case management services, providing the support needed to achieve their <br /> career goals. <br /> E.The Career Navigator will recruit the targeted youth populations through participation in OC <br /> PACT(Parole and Community Team) meetings, engagement with the Youth Councif Network, <br /> monthly community tours, attendance at resource fairs, and program presentations to new and <br /> existing community partners. Working Wardrobes will create outreach flyers marketing the <br /> program and share them with over 185 referral partners. <br /> F. Included as Attachment J is a Letter of Support from Simon Scholars.Although Simon <br /> Scholars primarily serves in-school youth, they can speak to the benefits their clients have <br /> experienced after participating in similar programming, including wardrobing services, and <br /> workshops. <br /> G.Working Wardrobes' recruitment plan to enroll 80%of youth by the 2nd quarter of the <br /> program (December 31, 2026) includes a multi-faceted approach: participation in OC PACT <br /> meetings, engagement with the Youth Council Network, monthly community tours, attendance <br /> at resource fairs, and program presentations. Referral forms will be accepted from partners or <br /> through self-referrals. Staff will conduct a screening phone call to evaluate basic eligibility. <br /> Eligible youth will then be invited to an orientation session with the Career Navigator,where <br /> they will learn about the program and complete the pre-application intake forms. <br /> 4.Assessment <br /> A-B.A multi-step assessment process will be implemented to ensure a comprehensive <br /> evaluation of each youth participant.The TABE assessment will be completed prior to <br /> enrollment, with approval from the Service Navigator.After enrollment, additional career <br /> assessments will be conducted using 0*Net Interest Profiler by the Bureau of Labor Statistics <br /> and Eureka.org, including tools like True Colors and Micro-skills assessments. These <br /> assessments will evaluate soft and hard skills, career interests, and learning styles to better <br /> match participants with suitable training and career pathways. Upon enrollment,clients will <br /> have the opportunity to contact a volunteer Career Coach who will assist them in taking the <br /> additional career assessment. For youth who know what job and/or industry they are <br /> interested in, they will be offered the O*Net Interest Profiler.This resource offers a deep dive <br /> into specific jobs based on the results of the assessment that include skills and training <br /> requirements, common job duties, median salary range by location and local training programs. <br /> For young adults that need more direction, they will be offered other assessments like True <br /> Colors and Micro-skills. Once complete, the Career Navigator will help youth explore career <br /> pathways and set goals. Using the Eureka platform, participants will take assessments to gauge <br /> their work and communication styles, identifying natural skills despite limited work experience. <br /> Clients will have access to the platform throughout the program to complete additional <br /> assessments. <br /> C.Youth, especially those from low-income households and underserved communities, face <br /> significant barriers to employment that limit their access to opportunities compared to their <br />
