Those who enroll into an institution yielding to a HS <br /> diploma or GED will be eligible to receive a $100.00 gift card. Current and <br /> Follow-Up participants will be eligible to receive a $200 gift card for obtaining <br /> their GED/Diploma. Doing so will encourage these WIOA participants to commit <br /> to their educational goal and thus attain a secondary credential within a <br /> reasonable amount of time. Case Manager, Career Counselor and school <br /> representatives will communicate regularly to ensure that students enrolled into <br /> their institution commit to their schedule to complete missing credits in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> Youth in-Secondary Education: <br /> Obtaining Credential: Any youth in secondary education that obtains their High <br /> School Diploma or GED during current year or follow up will receive a Gift Card <br /> incentive.This is to encourage youth for completing their educational goal of <br /> obtaining a credential for finishing their secondary education in a timely manner. <br /> Because this is a high demand credential by employers, we want to use this <br /> incentive as a way to help them secure and achieve employment goals. <br /> For Current youth: Gift Card incentive will be $200 <br /> 2 <br /> Attachment C Revised:05/14/2024 <br />
