rile r _ _ _ <br />SECTION 30: That section 8 -340 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />such that it reads as follows (new language underlined, deleted language in strikeout for tracking <br />purposes only): <br />Sec. 8 -340. Piping in the ground (California Plumbing Code Section 314.3). <br />Section 314.3 of the Plumbing Code is amended to read as follows: <br />314.3. Piping in the ground shall be laid on a firm bed for its entire length. <br />Building drains, sewers and storm drain piping systems in the ground, and <br />designed and approved at less than one (1) percent grade, shall be laid on <br />a continuous firm bed, certified by a registered soils engineer as having a <br />compaction level of not less than ninety (90) percent density.
