Where fire protection systems approved <br />by the fire marshal are provided, the above required clearance may be <br />modified. <br />(d) Oversizing. The fire marshal shall have the authority to require an <br />increase in the minimum access width where such width is not adequate <br />for fire or rescue operations. <br />(b) Subsection 503.7 is added to the California Fire Code to read as follows: <br />503.7 Planned Unit Development Access. <br />(a) Road widths. Access roadways or streets in a PUD shall comply <br />with the provisions of Santa Ana Municipal Code Sections 14 -24 and 14- <br />25 as well as the road widths as follows: <br />2$ 28 feet wide when parking is not allowed on either side of the <br />roadway. <br />�8 32 feet wide when parking is not allowed on only one side of the <br />roadway and, <br />48 36 feet wide when parking is not restricted. <br />FY'f- :1�•- • +:.�. Dead end fire department access roads shall be in <br />accordance with Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 14 -25. <br />(c) Cul -de -sacs.
