SECTION 66: That section 14-49 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />such that it reads as follows (new language underlined, deleted language in strikeout for tracking <br />purposes only): <br />Sec. 14 -49. Deletions from the California Fire Code. <br />The following parts of the California Fire Code are hereby deleted: <br />Appendix A -Board of Appeals <br />Appendix B -Fire Flow Requirements for Buildings <br />Appendix C -Fire Hydrant Locations and Distribution <br />Appendix D -Fire Apparatus Access Roads <br />Chanter 4 in its entirety Exceptions: Sections 401 402 403 and 407 as <br />adopted by SFM. <br />SECTION 67: That section 14 -55 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />such that it reads as follows (new language underlined, deleted language in strikeout for tracking <br />purposes only): <br />Sec. 14 -55. o ^�-^;+ f ^- Sale of safe and sane fireworks; hours of sale. <br />No person shall display, sell, or engage in the business of selling safe and sane <br />fireworks without first having obtained a permit to do so as hereinafter provided. No <br />person shall sell any type of fireworks at any time except from 12:00 noon through <br />10 :00 p.m. on July 1st; from 10 :00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. on July 2nd and 3rd; and <br />from 10 :00 a.m_ through 8:00 p.m. on July 4th of any year. <br />SECTION 68: That section 14 -56 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />such that it reads as follows (new language underlined, deleted language in strikeout for tracking <br />purposes only): <br />Sec. 14 -56. Permits, issuance. <br />(a) Permits for the sale of safe and sane fireworks shall be issued only to <br />bona fide nonprofit organizations as recognized by the State of California organized for <br />charitable, fraternal, patriotic service or religious purposes with their principal and <br />permanent meeting place within the City of Santa Ana, and at least fifty (50) per cent of <br />the members residing within the city limits. <br />(b) Permits for the sale of safe and sane fireworks shall limit each sponsoring <br />organization to a single location in any given year. <br />Ordinance No. NS -XXXX <br />75A -53 Page 45 of 50 <br />
