ATTACHMENT 2 <br />New Paint • Reputable manufacturer. <br />• Highest quality available. <br />• Zero or low VOC paint, caulking and fillers. <br />WALLS, FLOORS AND CEILINGS <br />Minimum Standard • Safe and structurally sound. <br /> • All plaster, cl all and paneling shall be safe and intact. <br />Rehabilitation e Walls, floors and ceilings that do not meet the minimum <br /> standard shall be replaced. Practical, cost effective repairs <br /> are acceptable as long as compliance with the minimum <br /> standard will be achieved. <br /> • If the project involves a gut rehab, the attic <br />walls and <br /> , <br />floor on raised foundations shall be insulated. <br />FLOOR COVERINGS <br />Minimum Standard • Safe, sound and sanitary. <br /> • Five or more ears of practical utility. <br />Rehabilitation • Floor coverings that do not meet the minimum standard <br /> shall be replaced. Practical, cost effective repairs are <br /> acceptable 'aslong as compliance with the minimum <br /> standard will be achieved. <br />Replacement Floor • Carpet & Pad (Reputable manufacturer <br />recycled <br />Coverings , <br />materials). <br /> • Resilient Flooring (Reputable manufacturer, 10 year wear <br /> warranty). <br /> • Ceramic Tile (Reputable manufacturer) <br />INTERIOR DOORS <br />Minimum Standard • Safe, sound and in good working order. <br /> • Five or more ears of practical utility. <br />Rehabilitation • Interior doors that do not meet the minimum standard <br /> shall be replaced. Practical, cost effective repairs are <br /> acceptable as long as compliance with the minimum <br /> standard will be achieved. <br />Replacement Doors & • Doors (Reputable manufacturer, masonite, raised panel). <br />Hardware • Hardware (Reputable manufacturer, lifetime finish). <br />INTERIOR PAINT <br />Minimum Standard • Homes built before 1978 must comply with 24 CFR Part <br />NSP3 Substantial Amendment Page 5 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20A-59
