�S <br />M�MD`RANDUM <br />To:_ City Manauer pots May 31, 1972 <br />� - , . , <br />Subject: ._SADDLEBACK INN PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS <br />At their meeting of August 16, 1971, the City Council approved an encroachment <br />agreement between the Saddleback Inn and the City of Santa Ana for the construction <br />of a pedestrian overpass across First Street to link their existing building on the <br />south side of First with a proposed development on the north side. One of the <br />conditions of the agreement was that the plans and the renderings were subject to <br />the approval of the City Council in addition to requiring approval from the <br />Public Works and the Building Safety and Housing Departments with regards to <br />structural and other technical details and requirements. <br />The plans have been reviewed by the appropriate City staff and have been found to <br />be acceptable. A rendering of the structure will be presented to the Council for <br />their approval at their meeting of June 5, 1972. Mr. William Swank, project <br />architect, will be available at the meeting to make the presentation and answer <br />any questions. <br />Recommendation.
