Contract Award For <br />Fairview Triangle Habitat Restoration <br />October 3, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />While the City made outreach efforts to Santa Ana contractors regarding the notice inviting bids, no <br />contractors from Santa Ana submitted bids. A survey was taken from randomly selected Santa <br />Ana contractors who chose not to bid. The lowest bid was submitted by ACE <br />CD, Inc., for $93,207.50, which is below the Engineer's estimate of $105,500. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />Environmental Review #ER- 2006 -166 has been completed and a Notice of Exemption has been <br />filed pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act. In addition, a Certificate of Categorical <br />Exclusion has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Quality Act. <br />
