C-1-3022 <br /> <br /> 2 BY AND BETWEEN <br /> 3 ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY <br /> <br /> 4 AND <br /> <br /> 5 THE CITIES FOUNTAIN VALLEY, HUNTINGTON BEACH, SANTA ANA <br /> 6 AND <br /> <br /> 7 THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> 8 FOR <br /> 9 IMPLEMENTATION OF <br /> <br /> 10 THE MACARTHUR BOULEVARD / TALBERT AVENUE FUNDED AS PART OF THE MEASURE M2 <br /> <br /> 11 REGIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION PROGRAM (PROJECT P) <br /> 12 THIS AGREEMENT, is effective this - day of , 2011 by and between the Orange <br /> <br /> 13 County Transportation Authority, 550 South Main Street, P.O. Box 14184, Orange, California 92863- <br /> <br /> 14 1584, a public corporation of the State of California (hereinafter referred to as "AUTHORITY"), and the <br /> .15 Cities of Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, and the State of California (hereinafter <br /> <br /> 16 referred to as the "PARTICIPATING AGENCIES"). <br /> <br /> 17 WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY in cooperation with the PARTICIPATING AGENCIES are <br /> 18 working together in coordinating traffic signals across multiple jurisdictional boundaries as a part of the <br /> <br /> 19 Renewed Measure M (M2) Regional Traffic Signal Synchronization Program Project P (Project P) to <br /> <br /> 20 enhance countywide traffic flow and reduce congestion; and <br /> 21 WHEREAS, AUTHORITY has completed the competitive 2010 Call for Projects (hereinafter, <br /> <br /> 22 "2010 CALL") in support of Project P and awarded Project P funds based on the application <br /> <br /> 23 (hereinafter, "APPLICATION") prepared by the City of Santa Ana (hereinafter referred to as the <br /> 24 "APPLICANT AGENCY") for implementation of signal synchronization of traffic signals along <br /> <br /> 25 MacArthur Boulevard / Talbert Avenue Corridor (hereinafter, `PROJECT'); and <br /> <br /> 26 WHEREAS, the PARTICIPATING AGENCIES in their approved APPLICATION have elected <br /> <br /> Exhibit 1 <br /> <br /> 25B-3 <br />
