Joe Callanan and associates <br />Specialized Training Consultants <br />2010 FEE SCHEDULE <br />Original Consultation Fee $ 950.00 <br />This original consultation fee will be charged upon initiating a case file and setting a calendar reservation. <br />It represents a formal retention agreement between the parties. It is a non-refundable charge applied <br />directly to fixed office costs and operating expenses. <br />Case Review and Preparation $ 200.00 <br />This basic hourly fee will be applied to all directed activities associated with case review, analysis, <br />research, preparation, meetings and document production. It is a basic hourly fee that may be billed in <br />increments no less than one quarter of an hour. Included in this category are: <br />O review of case documents and/or exhibits <br />© tactical debriefings, site surveys and/or interviews <br />O travel, meetings, teleconferencing and/or report writing <br />® forensic analysis, photography and/or production of exhibits or displays <br />Deposition Fee $ 900.00 <br />This minimum deposition fee is predicated on a scheduled one-half day examination lasting no more than <br />THREE HOURS including reasonable breaks and interruptions. Examinations lasting more than THREE <br />HOURS will be billed at $300.00 dollars per additional hour or any portion thereof. The responsible party <br />giving notice of a scheduled deposition is required to submit the minimum deposition fee prior to the <br />examination. Any disputes or delays concerning the timely payment of such fees will be ultimately <br />charged to the original account client. <br />Case Presentation Fee $ 2500.00 <br />This minimum daily fee will be applied to all scheduled Hearings or Court appearances in compliance with <br />Federal and State rules governing "expert witnesses." [ref:, 2034 CCP and Rancho Bernardo <br />Deve/opment vs. Superior Court of San Diego County, et a/] This minimum daily fee does not include <br />collateral expenses such as travel, lodgings, transportation, meals, parking, etc. <br />Directed Travel Expenses [billed at cost] <br />All travel related expenses will be billed at cost and appropriate receipts will be provided. Some travel <br />related expenses such a time and meals may be adjusted and/or shared -?arhen practical and/or <br />appropriate to do so. The use of personal vehicles will be charged at .55 cents per mile. Typically, a <br />$40.00 dollar per day meal allowance will be charged for travel and/or workdays. When possible, some <br />travel related expenses might be shared among multiple client accounts as a matter of operational <br />economy. <br />Invoices and Payments <br />Itemized account invoices with appropriate receipts will be periodically submitted and are due and <br />payable within 90 days of the billing. Accounts exceeding the 90 day period will be charged an additional <br />2% late fee on the unpaid account balance. <br />[rev: 10/10/1 O]
