<br /> <br /> i <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 Duties: <br /> 2 15.2.3.1 Prepares and maintains financial and accounting <br /> <br /> 3 records by gathering, assembling, tabulating, comparing, verifying, and <br /> 4 posting financial and statistical data. <br /> <br /> 5 15.2.3.2 Prepares or verifies and processes bills, <br /> 6 invoices, and similar documents. <br /> <br /> 7 15.2.3.3 Posts and balances cash books, ledgers, f <br /> 8 subsidiary journals, and other financial and accounting records. <br /> <br /> 9 15.2.3.4 Reconciles accounts to general ledgers and <br /> i <br /> 10 prepares routing reports and statements. <br /> 11 15.2.3.5 Analyzes and prepares reports of encumbrances <br /> 12 and expenditures for department programs. <br /> <br /> 13 15.2.3.6 Performs cost research and cost recovery <br /> <br /> 14 analysis, <br /> 15 15.2.3.7 Receives money and maintains records of <br /> <br /> 16 receipts, files of invoices and other financial transaction documents. <br /> 17 Qualifications: <br /> <br /> 18 15.2.3.8 Two (2) years of experience performing <br /> 19 responsible accounting, financial, statistical or other specialized office <br /> <br /> 20 clerical work supplemented by courses in accounting, finance, business, office <br /> 21 practices, or related coursework; or any equivalent combination of training <br /> <br /> 22 and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities in <br /> 23 accounting methods and government budgeting. <br /> <br /> 24 15.2.3.9 Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and <br /> 25 practices, fund accounting and governmental accounting methods. <br /> <br /> 26 15.2.3.10 Ability to keep bookkeeping accounts and prepare <br /> 27 financial statements and make arithmetic calculations. <br /> <br /> 28 <br /> I <br /> (WAM08A11) 18 of 18 (December 22, 2011) <br /> <br /> <br /> 20B-60 <br />
