Contractor shall apply new brick dust to fence <br /> lines and warning tracks as necessary to maintain consistent '/z" <br /> layer of brick dust in these areas. <br /> <br /> c) Weekly Maintenance <br /> <br /> (1) Contractor will then edge the fence lines and warning track to <br /> achieve crisp straight lines and a smooth crisp arc where the <br /> brickdust warning track meets the sport turf. <br /> d) Annual Maintenance <br /> <br /> (1) Top dress outfield turf using Santa Ana mix or approved product. <br /> Apply with an approved top dressing machine that will achieve a <br /> level playing surface. (The "Santa Ana Mix" is sold by AG <br /> Organic, Riverside. The specification is: AG Organic Company <br /> Organigro Seed Topdress premixed w/California Organic <br /> Fertilizer, Inc. Phyta Boost Plant Food 7-1-2 (33cy of Organigro <br /> Seed Topdress +700#'s 7-1-2 Phyta Boost per Acre)). <br /> e) Non-recurring maintenance: <br /> <br /> (1) During inclement weather the Contractor shall work to reopen <br /> baseball fields as soon as possible. The Contractor shall use <br /> Diamond Dry or an approved equal to warning tracts and fence <br /> lines. In addition, the Contractor shall use hand pumps or any <br /> other reasonable method necessary to drain water off the field. <br /> 11. Soccer /Football Field Maintenance <br /> <br /> <br /> a) All soccer/football fields shall be inspected every day, Monday through <br /> Friday. Contractor shall look for divots, depressions, debris, and other <br /> turf marring conditions. If discovered, the Contractor shall fill in divots <br /> and depressions with #20 white silica sand mixed with Stovers Bermuda <br /> Dunes grass seed during the spring/summer and Stovers Grand Slam <br /> perennial rye grass seed during the fall winter to re-establish the areas. <br /> b) Areas of the field where turf has been worn away due to play shall be <br /> raked, dragged and leveled each day to provide a level-playing surface <br /> free of divots, depressions and uneven surfaces. The Contractor shall <br /> add approved topsoil to these areas as necessary to keep the areas level <br /> and safe. <br /> c) Annually, the Contractor shall top dress outfield turf using Santa Ana <br /> mix or approved product. Apply with an approved top dressing machine <br /> that will achieve a level playing surface. <br /> <br /> 27 <br /> <br /> 251-37 <br />
