Special Maintenance <br /> In addition to the standard Grounds-Landscape Specification the following <br /> special maintenance shall be performed. <br /> <br /> a) P.E. Bike Trail (Chestnut to Bristol). In addition to the standard <br /> Grounds-Landscape Specification the following special maintenance <br /> shall be performed. <br /> <br /> (1) Adams to Bristol - The contractor shall keep the unimproved <br /> areas immediately adjacent the improved bike trail free of <br /> weeds, debris, and otherwise any objectionable item a <br /> minimum of 4' from fence lines and/or to the wall of <br /> adjacent buildings. <br /> (2) Warner Ave. to Occidental - The unimproved land <br /> immediately adjacent (east) of the improved bike trail is a <br /> part of this agreement. The Contractor shall maintain all <br /> plant material and keep unimproved areas free of weeds, <br /> trash and debris. <br /> (3) Flower west toward Bristol - This portion of the bike trail <br /> has an unimproved portion of property from Flower St. <br /> running west along the bike trail. This property shall <br /> continuously be maintained free of weeds, trash and debris. <br /> 16. City Inspection <br /> <br /> a) The Director or his designated representative shall regularly inspect <br /> the parks, playgrounds, fields and all other City property subject to this <br /> Agreement. If said inspection results in discovery of work that is not <br /> performed in the manner, and to the professional degree set forth in the <br /> Specifications, Contractor agrees that the City shall deduct from <br /> Contractor's next monthly payment, the City's actual or estimated cost of <br /> performing the work to bring the property into conformance with the <br /> specifications. Additionally, City shall impose liquidated damages of up <br /> to $300.00 per inspection, per park, per day not meeting the <br /> specifications during any such inspection. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 29 <br /> 251-39 <br />
