Said fee shall be assessed <br />in an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for the costs <br />actually incurred by the City based upon a rate of $81.28 per hour <br />but in no case shall be less than $81.28. <br />51601VIOLATION/INVESTIGATION FEES$80.00$81.28 <br />51602 <br />51603When any work for which a permit is required has been <br />51611commenced without the authorization of such permit, an <br />51604investigation may be required before a permit will be issued <br />51606for such work. An investigation fee shall be assessed in an <br />amount sufficient to reimburse the City for costs actually <br />incurred by the City based on a rate of $81.28 per hour but <br />in no case less than $81.28 shall be collected. <br />51601PENALTY FEES$201.00$204.22 <br />51602 <br />51603In addition to the investigation fee and regular permit fee, a <br />51611penalty in an amount equal to the amount of the total permit <br />51604fee shall be required, but in no case less than $204.22. <br />51606 <br />51601EXPEDITED COPY REQUESTPer Hour$54.65$55.52 <br />51605 APPROVAL FOR BUSINESSEach$77.85$79.10 <br />CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY <br />Whenever a Business License Tax application requires <br />approval of a Business Certificate of Occupancy each <br />application shall be accompanied by the payment of a <br />nonrefundable application processing fee of $30.97 <br />and an inspection fee of $48.13 which shall be refunded if <br />an inspection proves to be unnecessary. <br />51601DEMOLITION PERMIT$80.00$81.28 <br />The fee for a permit to demolish a building or structure shall <br />be based upon the contract price but in no case less than the <br />minimum building permit fee of $81.28. <br />098001001-When a building is demolished, the owner shall provide the <br />24015City with a cash or surety bond as described in Section 8-1768 <br />through 8-1771 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. For the <br />purpose of lot cleanup and capping of the sewer lateral, the <br />value of the bond is to be established by the Building Official <br />but in no case shall the bond be less than $1,000.00 per <br />building. A single family dwelling and garage shall be <br />considered as one building for bonding purposes. <br />41 <br /> <br />
