WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa will not use Measure M funds to supplant <br />Developer Fees or other commitments; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa will use Arterial Highway Rehabilitation <br />funding as a supplement to the existing pavement management program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of <br />Costa Mesa hereby requests that the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate <br />funds in the amounts requested in the City's application for !Measure M Funds to the <br />City from the Comprehensive Transportation Programs and it agrees that said funds <br />shall be matched by City funds as required. <br />BE I FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, <br />California does hereby authorize the Director of Costa Mesa Public Works or designee, <br />to file applications for Renewed Measure M funded Comprehensive Transportation <br />Program, to sign such applications, and to invoice Orange County Transportation <br />Authority for payment of allocated funds as appropriate. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 151t' day of March, 2011. <br />ATTI=ST: <br />Julie FoCity C erk <br />Gary Monahan, Mayor <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />TAttorney <br />2 <br />25G-24
