0 City of Santa Ana <br />C. While performing disaster assistance, Contractor shall provide supervisory assistance at the <br />command post or emergency operations center as requested and are to use best efforts to <br />provide local emergency coverage; Contractor must also suspend non-emergency transport <br />services as necessary, informing persons requesting non-emergency transport of the reason <br />for the temporary suspension; <br />D. During the course of a disaster, OCFA will work with Contractor to utilize mutual aid <br />providers who are authorized to perform such services within the County to meet the service <br />demands of the disaster. <br />4.3.13 Standard of Performance <br />Contractors must perform all work and services pursuant to the Contract Documents in a skillful <br />and workmanlike manner, and consistent with the standards generally recognized as being <br />employed by professionals in the private, emergency ambulance transportation field in the State <br />of California. Contractor must warrant that they are skilled in the professional calling necessary <br />to perform all work and services under the Contract Documents. Contractor must warrant, and <br />from time to time may be required by the OCFA to demonstrate, that all employees and <br />authorized subcontractors shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the work and <br />services assigned to them under the Contract. Finally, Contractor must further represent that they, <br />their employees, and authorized subcontractors have all licenses, permits, qualifications and <br />approvals of whatever nature that are legally required to perform the work and services under the <br />contract, and that such licenses and approvals shall be maintained at all times during the term of <br />the contract. <br />4.3.14 General Provisions <br />A. Return of OCFA Personnel <br />OCFA provides Advanced Life Support ("ALS") services from a variety of delivery <br />platforms, including engine and truck companies. In cases where OCFA personnel <br />accompany patients in the ambulance en route to hospitals or to other receiving facilities, and <br />the OCFA ALS unit does not follow-up to the hospital/receiving facility, the Contractor/ or <br />Mutual Aid Provider shall return those personnel to their assigned fire station(s) within 30 <br />Phase 2 RFP: Emergency Ambulance Transportation and Related Services Page 1 42 <br />June 14, 2012 <br />25F-61
