<br />Project Liaison - Coordinates curriculum development with Canada College and SFSU,
<br />manages Student Support Specialists, coordinates internships with OCTANe, AMUG, UCI
<br />SAGE and other employers, acts as liaison with WIB to ensure all project goals are on track
<br />= $150,000 in Year 1, $100,000 in Year 2, $50,000 in Year 3, and $25,000 in Year 4 for a
<br />total of $325,000.
<br />Admin support - assistance with scheduling, tracking, reporting, meeting coordination. 0.15
<br />FTE at $45,000 /FTE = $6,750 in Year 1, $6,750 in Year 2, $6,750 in Year 3, and $6,750 in
<br />Year 4 for a total of $27,000
<br />Fringe/Benefits - Including medical, retirement, etc. Calculated at 22.85% of salaries =

<br />1, $4,640 in Year 2, $2,949 in Year 3, and $2,949 in Year 4 for a total of $15,178
<br />Day Travel to Orange County from Bay Area for supervision of Student Support

<br />Sixteen day trips per year at $324 for airfare, $35 /day for per diem = $5,744 in Year 1,
<br />$5,744 in Year 2, $4,122 in Year 3, and $4,122 in Year 4 for a total of $19,732
<br />Between overnight and day trips, the Project Liaison will spend a total of 48 working days
<br />per year in Orange County, an average of four full days per month. He will also be in
<br />constant email and phone communication with partners.
<br />Student Support Specialists: 2 specialists (1 per community college). Plays critical role in
<br />outreach and recruitment of community college cohorts. Envisioned as a recent CSUF /UCI
<br />graduate and ideally former community college student who can relate to OC 132E cohorts
<br />and the diversity of their needs and strengths. Provides mentoring, social and academic
<br />support, and coordinates referrals to student support services at the colleges and through the
<br />SA WIB. Works closely with SA WIB case manager. Works primarily with cohorts at
<br />community college, however, starts working with existing engineering students in Y1 as
<br />well. Contract amount rises in Years, 2, 3 and 4 as there are more cohorts to work with =
<br />$75,000 in Year 1, $105,000 in Year 2, $110,000 in Year 3, and $115,000 in Year 4 for a
<br />total of $405,000
