He will also be in <br />constant email and phone communication with partners. <br />Student Support Specialists: 2 specialists (1 per community college). Plays critical role in <br />outreach and recruitment of community college cohorts. Envisioned as a recent CSUF /UCI <br />graduate and ideally former community college student who can relate to OC 132E cohorts <br />and the diversity of their needs and strengths. Provides mentoring, social and academic <br />support, and coordinates referrals to student support services at the colleges and through the <br />SA WIB. Works closely with SA WIB case manager. Works primarily with cohorts at <br />community college, however, starts working with existing engineering students in Y1 as <br />well.
