Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />This project aims to reach out to Santa Ana homeless and remove barriers that may <br />prevent them from obtaining legal services. Generally, clients must call the LASOC <br />Hotline to obtain legal assistance. May homeless people do not have access to a <br />telephone and/or have a disability that prevents them from connecting with LASOC. To <br />address these issues, SAHLOP will physically send staff out into the community and to <br />homeless shelters to directly contact the homeless in Santa Ana. Outreach and client <br />intake will be conducted. <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12-month <br />contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
