The Villa has been a part of the
Santa Ana community for many decades, providing Santa Ana residents who are homeless, or at imminent risk
of homelessness, a place to live while they recover from alcoholism and drug addiction.
The Villa provides a temporary, safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for women who are often homeless
or at risk of homelessness, where they can learn to live a life free of addiction and begin a lifelong path toward
recovery and self-sufficiency. Each resident is assigned a counselor/case manager who works with her to
develop a recovery plan that includes action steps and measurable goals. The recovery plan moves the client,
during her average 90-day stay with us, toward long-term achievements such as planning to return to school,
finding employment, and re-establishing family relationships. We provide daily meals, prepared with the help of
the residents, 12-Step and Big Book classes, speaker events with former residents, counseling, physical and
mental healthcare, in-house education and employment referrals, and social and family services.
Schedule of Performance
Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12-month
contract period per quarter.
