1. Scope of Work. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, vehicles, chemicals, tools, <br />materials, equipment, transportation and supervision, except as specified herein, to <br />manage and perform the pavement cleaning services as set forth herein. <br />Completion Criteria: <br />1.1 All listed hardscape areas in Attachment A shall be cleaned at the indicated <br />intervals, including but not limited to sidewalks, walkways, patios, boardwalks, <br />quads, esplanades, etc. <br />1.2 Hardscape areas shall be cleaned 100% free of all dirt, stains, gum, oil, tar, and <br />residue to present a high quality appearance following each scheduled visit. <br />1.3 Accumulated water remaining after the cleaning shall be removed completely so <br />no puddling exists. <br />1.4 Until dry, the areas, where practical, shall be barricaded, locked or otherwise <br />isolated. <br />1.5 The Contractor shall clean all areas up to the entrance doors of each building. <br />This includes, but is not limited to, steps, handicap ramps, side entrances, etc. <br />1.6 The Contractor shall also meet the criteria for cleaning as specified below. <br />2. Contaminated Water: <br />2.1 Only uncontaminated potable water may flow into surface drains. No cleaning <br />agents or water contaminated from petroleum waste or any other hazardous waste <br />may be allowed to flow into the surface drains. Contractor shall comply with all <br />NPDES requirements regarding the containment of discharge into the storm drain <br />system. <br />3. Frequency of Service <br />3.1 All areas covered by this contract shall be thoroughly cleaned a minimum of one <br />(1) time per month. Exceptions to this are noted below: <br />Area A: Orange County Courthouse shall be cleaned one (1) time per week. The <br />Reflection Pond at the Central Courthouse shall be cleaned one (1) time per <br />month. <br />Area B: City Council Chamber grounds and patios shall be cleaned one (1) time <br />per month. <br />25d-10
