Ct? <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AND THE SANTA ANA WORK CENTER/ <br />WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD <br />This Memorandum of Understanding, dated November 15, 2012, between the City of Santa Ana <br />(hereinafter "City"?, and the Santa Ana Work Center /Workforce Investment Board (hereinafter <br />"WORK Center"). <br />RECITALS <br />1 . The WORK Center desires to continue to lease space at the Santa Ana Regional <br />Transportation Center ("SARTC"), to provide its programs and services to the public. <br />2. The parties desire to set forth their agreement regarding the WORK Center's lease of <br />space at the SARTC. <br />TERM: <br />The Term of this Agreement will commence July 1, 2012 and continue through June 30, 2013. <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />L City shall allow WORK Center to occupy Suites 200 and 220 within the Santa Ana <br />Regional Transportation Center (SARTC), located at 1000 East Santa Ana Boulevard, <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701 . <br />2. City shall provide janitorial service and all utilities, except telephones and security <br />equipment. <br />3. Payment. <br />a. The monthly user fee for the term from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, is <br />$14,846.70. The rate has been adjusted to incorporate the 1.6% CPI increase applied <br />to all SARTC tenants for FY 2012/13. The parties agree that WORK Center will <br />within thirty days of execution of this MOU, reimburse City for unpaid FY 12/13 <br />user fees from July 1, 2012 through November 30, 2012 in the amount of $74,233.50 <br />($14,846.70/month x 5). <br />b.
