Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Adopt a resolution consenting to the County of Orange declaring a portion of Edinger Avenue as a <br />County Highway for the construction of the Edinger Avenue Bridge Widening improvements. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On December 17, 2012, the City Council approved a cooperative agreement with the County of <br />Orange and the City of Fountain Valley for the Edinger Avenue Bridge Widening over the Santa Ana <br />River (Exhibit 1). As part of that agreement, the County of Orange is requesting the City consent to <br />declaring a portion of Edinger Avenue as a County Highway to facilitate the completion of the bridge <br />widening project. Upon completion of construction, ownership of the portion of Edinger Avenue in <br />Santa Ana would revert to the City. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed project is exempt from further <br />review.
