SCOPE OF WORK <br />The intent of these specifications is to provide full and complete contract <br />landscape maintenance at designated sites, herein described, and that such <br />sites be kept in a healthy, weed -free, vigorous, and well -kept state at all times. <br />The Contractor shall provide at his own risk and cost all labor, materials, tools, <br />equipment, traffic control and miscellaneous devices, transportation, hauling, <br />dumping, fertilizers, insecticides, rodenticides, chemicals and other items needed <br />to do landscape maintenance work as directed herein. <br />The Contractor shall provide complete landscape maintenance at all work sites, <br />including, but not limited to pruning, structural shaping of young trees, shrubs, <br />and ground cover plants; removing and controlling weeds; controlling plant <br />diseases and pests; mowing turf; edging turf and ground cover; irrigating plant <br />material; maintaining and repairing irrigation systems; removing trash and debris; <br />and other maintenance required to maintain the work sites in a safe, attractive <br />and useable condition. The Contractor shall maintain all plant material in good <br />condition with horticulturally accepted standards for growth, color, and <br />appearance. (Horticulturally accepted standards shall be determined by the <br />Projects Manager or designee.) <br />Description of Proiect <br />Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to perform landscape <br />maintenance as described herein including, but no limited to, the following: <br />• Weeding, cultivating and brush control both mechanically and with <br />chemicals <br />• Fertilizing <br />• Shrub and groundcover trimming, pruning, training <br />• Minor tree pruning and staking of trees under 12 feet in height <br />• Irrigation programming, monitoring, maintenance, and repair <br />• General rodent, pest and disease control on landscape planting and turf <br />• Mowing and verticutting <br />• General litter control, refuse removal, and grounds policing <br />• Plant replacement <br />• Hardscape cleaning <br />• Access roadway clearance and visibility maintenance <br />• General drainage structure and system maintenance <br />25E -15 <br />
