N-2005-123-00( <br />JUN 2 5 2013 <br />O % COT C 0) <br />mcky'i a SEVENTH AMENDMENT TO <br />ViW-40ky' CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />THIS SEVENTH AMENDMENT to Consultant Agreement is made and entered into <br />on JuneaP?2013 by and between Cesar Vargas (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant") and the <br />City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement #N-2005-123, dated October 17, 2005, (hereinafter "said <br />Agreement") by which Consultant has provided translation/interpretation services. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to extend the <br />term of said Agreement to provide continuous, uninterrupted service. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and <br />subject to all the terns and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Seventh <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />The TERM of said Agreement shall be extended for an additional one-year period, through <br />June 30, 2014. <br />2. City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, the <br />hourly rate of $95.00 with a two hour minimum, which includes up to thirty (30) minutes of <br />preparation, familiarization and review time, as referenced in Section lb of the original <br />agreement. The total compensation to be paid pursuant to this Agreement shall not exceed <br />$25,000.00 during the term of the this renewal period <br />3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Second Amendment to <br />Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above. <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ATTEST: <br />MARIA D.
