• Provide biweekly psych clinics. <br />• Provide staff TB testing and Hepatitis vaccinations. <br />• Provide annual staff training required by law. <br />• Maintain detailed, accurate and confidential medical records, logs and files in accordance with California <br />Board of Corrections, Title 15 and the National Detention Standards of Immigration and Code Enforcement <br />Bureau <br />• Review and approve jail medical policies and procedures. <br />• Present timely and accurate reports to the Jail Administrator. <br />• All medical services will meet California Administrative Code (CAC), Title 15 - Minimum Standards for <br />Local Detention Facilities, National Detention Standards of Immigration and Code Enforcement Bureau as <br />well as all other applicable laws, regulations, codes and guidelines relating to health care services and <br />programs in adult detention facilities in the State of California. <br />3.0 PROPOSER QUALIFICATIONS <br />To be eligible to submit a proposal in response to this RFP a proposer must; <br />• Be organized for the purpose of providing contractual health care services. <br />• Possess no less than three (3) years experience providing correctional health care services with proven <br />effectiveness. <br />• Possess prior experience providing health care services to correctional facilities of similar size. <br />• Comply with all applicable California Board of Corrections, Title 15 standards. <br />4.0 STAFFING <br />Medical staff shall be present 24 hours daily, every day of the year. Minimum staff requirements are as follows: <br />Staffing Plan "A" <br />• Physician - One (1) on call 24 hours daily. <br />• NP - One (1); eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week. <br />• RN - Three (3); twelve (12) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. <br />(2 Dayshift/1 Nightshift) <br />• LVN - Four (4); twenty-four hours per day (two each shift), seven (7) days per week. <br />• DDS - Four (4) hours per week. <br />• Dental Assistant - Four (4) hours per week, if necessary. <br />15 <br />25J-93
