I. HOSPITAL TRANSFERS <br />If an inmate requires a level of care that cannot be provided on-site, <br />CMCMC will, in coordination with Jail Detention Staff, arrange for <br />transfer to Western Medical Center, Santa Ana's emergency department <br />for evaluation and treatment. <br />J. DENTAL SERVICES <br />Dental services will meet all standards set by the American Dental <br />Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and <br />Occupational Safety and Health Administration. <br />On-site dental services were established at the Jail effective September 1, <br />1998. CMCMC contracts with Helen Ninh, DDS and Maria Mayo, DDS <br />for the provision of the dental services detailed below, Dr. Ninh is the <br />lead dentist and her business address is 48 Sunset Circle, Westminster, <br />California, 92683. Please see for a copy of Dr. Ninh's and <br />Dr. Mayo's Curriculum Vitae. <br />Inmates will receive a dental screening and instruction on basic hygiene <br />during the health appraisal. Identified problems will be referred to the <br />dentist for evaluation and treatment. On-site dental clinics will be held <br />once per week for a minimum of four (4) hours per clinic (depending on <br />the number on inmates scheduled to see the dentist). <br />Requests for dental services will be made available through the sick call <br />process ( ). Requests will be triaged and prioritized according <br />to acuity.
