Cause a substantial adverse change in the s(yniffcance of a historical resource as defined in <br />Section 15064.51 <br />No Impact. Construction and operation of the proposed project would not impact any known <br />historical resources. Section 15064.5 of the CEQA Guidelines states that a resource shall be <br />considered by the lead agency to be historically significant if the resource meets the criteria for <br />listing in the California Register of Historical Resources (Public Resources Code Section 5024.1, Title <br />14, CCR Section 4852), including the following: <br />Criterion 1: Is associated with events that have made a significant contribution to the broad <br />patterns of California's history and cultural heritage; <br />Criterion 2: Is associated with the lives of persons important in our past; <br />Criterion 3: Embodies the distinctive characteristics of a type, period, region, or method of <br />construction or represents the work of an important creative individual or possesses high <br />artistic values; or <br />Criterion 4: Has yielded, or may be likely to yield, information important in prehistory or <br />history. <br />The project site consists of two adjacent parcels (719 and 803 South Sullivan) that both contain <br />buildings over 50 years old, with construction dates ranging from 1927 to 1962. The 719 South <br />Sullivan Street parcel (northern portion of the project site) contains a one -story single - family <br />Craftsman -style home, rectangular in plan, and built in 1927. The architectural features include a <br />cross -gable roof with composition shingles, horizontal lapped wood siding, and wood frame sash <br />single -hung windows. The gable ends of the roof and extended gable porch, supported by square <br />post and beans, have vertical board and batten siding. Located to the rear of the residence is a large <br />one-story addition with gable roof and extended porch roof supported by square post and beam. <br />The addition appears to consist of two separate individual unit rooms.
