The Association agrees that since the Association representative does not report for duty or <br />account to the City for his or her sick leave or vacation time, that vacation and sick leave <br />accruals shall be treated as follows: <br />A. The Association representative shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave each month <br />until the accrued sick leave total reaches a maximum of 1600 hours. <br />B. Vacation shall be accrued consistent with existing POA MOU provisions. The <br />Association representative may not carry over from one (1) calendar year to the next <br />more than the equivalent of one (1) longevity vacation period and the equivalent of <br />one (1) regular vacation period from the previous two (2) years. Regular vacation in <br />excess of that accrued during the previous two (2) year period will be forfeited. <br />C. The Association representative may not donate his/her accrued vacation or holiday <br />time. <br />56 <br />25A-79
