As of November, 2011, the <br />County's median income was $85,300. <br />Approximately 77% of families on the <br />program earn less than 30% of the <br />median income, which is $28,900 per <br />year for a family of four. <br />Participants' incomes come from a <br />variety of sources, as illustrated in Chart 6. <br />Nearly half (42 %) of <br />participating families <br />have employment <br />income. <br />Participating families <br />so °° <br />pay a portion of their <br />701 <br />monthly rent based <br />60% <br />upon their income <br />50% <br />and the payment <br />standard for their <br />40% <br />unit.
