Healy <br />This is to inform the general public that the City of Santa Ana proposes to adopt a Negative Declaration for <br />the following project: <br />Project Title: Redevelopment Project Areas Merger <br />Project Description: The proposed project involves amendments to existing <br />redevelopment plans to merge the Central City, Inter -City Commuter Station, <br />North Harbor, South Harbor, South Main and Bristol Corridor Redevelopment <br />Project Areas into a one Redevelopment Project Area. <br />The proposed merger of the six existing redevelopment projects is a technical <br />amendment to the redevelopment plans that would allow the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency ( "Agency" )to more effectively administer its <br />redevelopment program by allowing the Agency to combine tax increment <br />revenues from the existing redevelopment project areas to fund activities <br />anywhere in the merged project area.
