Develop public improvements that will contribute to the upscale corporate <br />park image, and continued desirability of the South Harbor project area as <br />a business location. <br />a. Median improvements along Fairview Street, Warner Avenue and <br />Segerstrom Avenue, and Harbor Boulevard. <br />b. Identify means for increased traffic control and improved traffic <br />patterns as new development occurs and traffic volumes increase. <br />c. Improved and continued street and landscape maintenance. <br />3. Enforce design standards for all new development and rehabilitation for the <br />project area. This goal is to ensure that the project area continues to <br />develop as a viable employment center and desirable location for business, <br />and that new development projects meet with the approval of the existing <br />businesses. <br />1. Encourage the development of vacant sites within the project area as <br />opportunities arise. <br />2. Encourage the redevelopment of underutilized property into more efficient <br />and beneficial businesses. <br />3. Assist in marketing and promotion of the South Harbor industrial area as a <br />premier location to retain existing businesses and attract new businesses. <br />4.
