Healy <br />SUBJECT: NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING <br />PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENTS TO <br />MERGE THE CENTRAL CITY, INTER -CITY COMMUTER STATION, <br />NORTH HARBOR, SOUTH HARBOR, SOUTH MAIN, AND BRISTOL <br />CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS <br />Dear Property Owner, Resident or Business: <br />A joint public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana ( "City <br />Council ") and the Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agency ( "Agency ") on <br />September 7, 2004, at 6 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the <br />City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California, for the purpose of <br />considering the proposed Redevelopment Plan Amendments ( "Amendments ") to merge <br />the Central City, Inter -City Commuter Station, North Harbor, South Harbor, South Main, <br />and Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Projects ( "Project Areas "). Enclosed with this letter <br />are the official notice of the joint public hearing and a map showing the boundaries of the <br />Project Areas. The Agency's records indicate that the property, which you own, reside <br />in, or conduct a business in, may be located within the boundaries of the Project Areas <br />as shown on the attached map. If you own, reside in, or conduct a business within the <br />boundaries of the Project Areas, the California Community Redevelopment Law requires <br />that we mail the enclosed notice to you in order to inform you of the joint public hearing. <br />The purpose of the proposed Amendments is to merge the Project Areas to combine tax <br />increment revenues for more effective administration of the Agency's redevelopment <br />program and to contribute to revitalization of the Project Areas through increased <br />economic vitality of such areas and through increased and improved housing <br />opportunities in or near such areas. In order to address any questions or concerns <br />before the joint public hearing on September 7, 2004, the Agency will hold a community <br />information meeting on August 10, 2004, at 6 p.m., in the Police Community Room, 60 <br />Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California, to discuss the proposed Amendments. <br />EXHIBIT 4 <br />4 -53 C5 396 <br />
