Healy <br />CERTIFIED MAIL <br />SUBJECT: Amendments to the Redevelopment Plans Merging the Central City, Inter -City <br />Commuter Station, North Harbor, South Harbor, South Main, and Bristol Corridor <br />Redevelopment Projects <br />Dear Mr. Franklin: <br />The Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agency ( "Agency") is in the process of adopting <br />amendments to effect the merger ( "Merger" or "Amendments ") of the Redevelopment Plans for the <br />Central City, Inter -City Commuter Station, North Harbor, South Harbor, South Main, and Bristol <br />Corridor Redevelopment Projects (together, "Project Areas," Merged Project Area," or Projects "). The <br />proposed Merger does not change or add to the boundaries of the Project Areas or change any the _ <br />financial or time limits in effect and as stated in the Redevelopment Plans for the respective Projects. The <br />Merger will allow the Agency to combine the tax increment from the Project Areas and allocate the <br />revenues to and among the Merged Project Area that will best facilitate the revitalization of blighted areas <br />through increased economic vitality and increased and improved housing opportunities. <br />In accordance with Section 33488 of the California Community Redevelopment Law, the Department of <br />Housing and Community Development — State of California is hereby notified that it is the Agency's <br />intention to merge the Project Areas.
