Reported that past Sunday served at Issah House; reflected on <br />challenges faced by many; need to engage with County Board of <br />Supervisors to collectively discuss solutions to problems; <br />Asked Fire Battalion Chief Scott Brown when the Orange County Fire <br />Authority's equity issue that would add stability and protect cash cities <br />would be considered; Chief Brown indicated that it was agendized for <br />the November 18, 2013 City Council Meeting; and <br />Advocated for all to shop in Santa Ana. <br />Mayor Pulido: <br />• Spoke of expansion efforts over the years of Artist Village to make <br />Santa Ana a more vibrant city; <br />• Commented on possibility of bringing back Tet Festival to Santa Ana, <br />where it began; and <br />• Request staff to repair sidewalk at corner of 19th and Broadway. <br />ADJOURNED- 9:37 P.M. - The next meeting of the City Council is scheduled for <br />Monday, November 18, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. for the Closed Session <br />Meeting immediately followed by the Regular Open Business <br />Meeting at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center <br />Plaza, Santa Ana, California <br />Maria D.
