5608.1 GENERAL. Outdoor fireworks displays, use of pyrotechnics before a <br />proximate audience and pyrotechnic special effects in theatrical and group <br />entertainment productions shall comply with California Code of Regulations, Title <br />19, Division 1, Chapter 6 Fireworks, the Orange County Fire Authority Guidelines <br />for Public Fireworks Displays, and with the conditions of the permit as approved <br />by the fire code official. <br />(e) Section 5608.2 Firing is hereby added as follows: <br />5608.2 Firing. All fireworks displays shall be electrically fired. <br />SECTION 65: That section 14 -39 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />such that it reads as follows: <br />Sec. 14 -39. Flammable and Combustible Liquids (Chapter 57). <br />Section 5704.2.3.2 Label or placard is hereby amended by modifying the NFPA <br />standard as follows: <br />5704.2.3.2 Label or placard. Tanks more than 100 gallons (379 L) in capacity, <br />which are permanently installed or mounted and used for the storage of Class I, <br />II or III liquids, shall bear a label and placard identifying the material therein. <br />Placards shall be in accordance with the Orange County Fire Authority Signage <br />Guidelines. <br />SECTION 66: That section 14-40 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />such that it reads as follows: <br />Sec. 14 -40. Highly Toxic and Toxic Materials (Chapter 60). <br />Section 6004.2.2.7 Treatment system is hereby amended by modifying the exceptions <br />as follows: <br />Exception: <br />1. Toxic gases — storage /use. Treatment systems are not required for toxic <br />gases supplied by cylinders or portable tanks not exceeding 1,700 pounds (772 <br />kg) water capacity when the following are provided: <br />1.1 A listed or approved gas detection system with a sensing interval not <br />exceeding 5 minutes. <br />1.2.
