Kelly, Chief _ <br />Program Management Branch <br />California Department of Transportaton <br />1129 N Street <br />Sacramento, California 95814 <br />Re: Endangered Species Information for the Proposed Widening of <br />Bristol Street, City of Santa Ana, Orange County, California <br />( #1- 6- 86- SP -15) <br />Dear Mr. Kelly: <br />This is in response to your letter, dated October 23, 1985 and received by <br />us on October 25, 1985, requesting information on listed and proposed <br />endangered and threatened species which may be present within the area of <br />the subject project in Orange County, California. <br />Your request and this response are made pursuant to Section 7(c) of the <br />Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. .. <br />To the best of our present knowledge there are no listed or proposed species <br />occurring within the area of the subject project. Should a species become iw <br />officially listed-or proposed before completion of your project, CALTRANS will <br />be required to reevaluate its responsibilities under the Act. <br />r <br />We appreciate your concern for endangered species and look forward to con- <br />tinued coordination with you and the Federal highway Administration.
