<br />and well with washing terrace. The
<br />house was constructed ca. 1740. The
<br />property retains the character and
<br />feeling of its period, because the
<br />property is bounded on the south by
<br />open land and the arrangement of the
<br />outbuildings blocks the view of more
<br />recent residential construction to the
<br />north and east. The house faces Jones
<br />Road, originally a farm road serving
