2013 -2014 Energy Efficiency Programs <br />Local Government Partnership Program <br />Program Implementation Plan <br />B.5) Peer to Peer Support <br />The partnership is interested in providing and sharing best practices with other partnerships, and will <br />continue to participate in such opportunities as it did during 2010 — 2012 with SCE. <br />Core Program Element C - Core Program Coordination <br />CA). Outreach and Education <br />The partnership will work with core programs to make a variety of public education materials for <br />use in community outreach efforts, to be delivered at community events, through local schools <br />municipal services bills, direct mail, and the partnership's webpage. The partnership plans to co- <br />brand and promote core and third party programs as needed, based on analysis of the city's <br />energy use profile. Higher energy -using or underserved segments will be provided with program <br />information and opportunities to take action. <br />C.2) Residential and Small Business Direct Install <br />There are no activities planned for direct install in homes and business at this time. However, <br />outreach will be done in the communication to create awareness of energy services and <br />programs as mentioned in C.1. <br />C.3.) Third -party program coordination <br />The Partnership will execute community events appropriate for a third party contractor to <br />execute, such as light exchange events. <br />CA) Retrofits for just -above ESA- qualified customers. <br />There is no plan to consider this in the 2013 - 2014 program cycle. <br />C.5) Technical assistance for program management, training, audits <br />The partnership will provide training and information to the city and its community and will <br />coordinate technical assistance, from other programs as described in the Master PIP. <br />a) Non - incentive services <br />The partnership will build a ME &O portfolio of activities to increase community enrollment in <br />energy core programs. The portfolio will include other SoCalGas services, resources, and assets <br />brought to support the ME &O Plan, including: <br />SoCalGas' Account Manager /Executive support; <br />SoCalGas' Energy Resource Center training; <br />Providing limited giveaways (i.e., opportunity drawings and energy kits); and <br />Providing marketing, design, and printing of brochures and other collateral materials. <br />b) Target audience <br />The partnership's principal target audiences are the City's municipal facilities. Facilities to be <br />improved include city hall, its police facility, the Corporate Yard, the South West Senior Center, <br />the Bowers Museum, the Transportation Center, Fire Stations 1 —10, and a variety of city parks. <br />The city has a history of investing in municipal facility energy efficiency upgrades that presently <br />position the city at the Silver incentive level. <br />
