Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Please be concise in your response. Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />Laura's House estimates that during the FY 2014 -2015 contract year that a minimum of 8-12% of the clients <br />served in our Emergency Shelter will be residents of Santa Ana. Laura's House will provide a comprehensive <br />30 -45 day residential shelter program utilizing ESG Funds (1.7% of the total program budget), towards serving <br />thirty four battered women and their children who are residents of Santa Ana and are homeless due to <br />domestic violence. The Emergency Shelter program includes: food & clothing, counseling, therapeutic and <br />educational groups, life- skills and parenting classes, legal assistance, case management and social advocacy <br />with linkage to additional resources necessary for the client to transition from shelter living to independence <br />and self- sufficiency. <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 -month <br />contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
