EXHIBIT A <br />known as the Center for Cultural Technology. Her expertise includes rural outreach, internships, <br />mentorship, and the development of organizational partnerships. She will devote 10% of her time <br />to Memories of Migration and hold primary responsibility for day -to -day project management to <br />insure that all partners are working together and that Memories of Migration stays on schedule <br />and on budget. She will also work to use IMLS funding to leverage local support. <br />vi.) New Mexico State Library Chief of the Library Development Bureau David Hurley: $4542 In- <br />Kind Cost Share ($64,896 x 5% = $3,244 + $1,298 fringe @ 40 %) <br />Mr. Hurley is responsible for providing services to public, tribal, and academic libraries throughout <br />NM, including federally funded programs for digital literacy and youth services. He also manages <br />an ongoing NMSL partnership with Parachute Factory to provide recruitment, technical assistance <br />and onsite program support to public and tribal libraries on the New Mexico Makerstate Initiative, <br />with the goal of creating a network of maker communities throughout the state centered in <br />libraries. Mr. Hurley will devote 5% of his time to Memories of Migration and coordinate with <br />Parachute Factory on library recruitment and coordination with other NMSL programs. <br />vii.) New Mexico Dept. of Cultural Affairs Web Manager Douglas Patinka: $3,945 In -Kind Cost <br />Share ($58,614 x 5 %= $2,818 +$1,127 fringe @ 40 %) <br />Mr. Patinka is responsible for the online presence of all DCA divisions and is director of the New <br />Mexico Cultural Atlas, a new initiative that will provide online access to New Mexico's cultural <br />resources via a group of interactive maps. Mr. Patinka will devote 5% of his time to Memories of <br />Migration and provide technical assistance on the interactive map component and the integration <br />of Memories of Migration with the New Mexico Culture Atlas. <br />viii.) NMHU Media Arts Professor TBD: $17,485 In Kind Cost Share ($52,000 x 25 %= $13,000+ <br />$4,485 fringe @ 34.5 %) <br />In fall semester 2014 the Dept. of Media Arts & Technology will offer an exhibition design class, <br />which represents 25% of the teaching load of the faculty member. The purpose of the Memories of <br />Migration exhibition is to provide cultural and historical context for "memory gathering" events at <br />participating libraries. The class will cover the fundamentals of traveling exhibition design and <br />production, community engagement, online interactive maps, and issues of migration and <br />immigration, as students create a traveling exhibit on the theme of Memories of Migration that will <br />travel to participating libraries in conjunction with their presentations of "memory gathering" <br />activities. <br />vix.) Student volunteers : $9,600 In -Kind Cost Share (8 x 80 hours x $15 value of volunteer time) <br />From August — December 2014, an NMHU Exhibit Design class of a minimum of 8 students (TBD) <br />will devote 80 hours each of class time and outside time to conducting research, designing, and <br />creating a traveling exhibit Memories of Migration. The time is valued at $15 /hour, which is the <br />government- approved rate used by museums to measure the contribution of volunteers. <br />The exhibit will integrate with other programs based on themes of migration and immigration <br />happening in New Mexico in 2015, including: (1) The exhibition and outreach project Imagining <br />Home at the Museum of International Folk Art Gallery of Conscience; (2) Expressions of Complex <br />Identities: Sephardic Jews, Conversos, and Crypto -Jews, 1391 -2015, [working title], scheduled to <br />20B -76 <br />
