Also address integrity) <br />The Tidball House is architecturally significant as a highly intact example of a late Craftsman bungalow and one of the earlier <br />homes to be constructed in the Park Santiago neighborhood. According to the building permit records, the house was built in <br />1923 for a cost of $3, 800 at a time when there were only a handful of homes on Santiago Street. The house was erected for <br />Reverend Milford Tidball, who lived there with his wife Mina through at least 1935. It is unknown with which congregation <br />Reverend Tidball was associated; however, the David Tidball family, presumably relatives, were noted in one historical <br />account as members of the the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Ana. <br />(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 3.) <br />B11.
