Also address integrity) <br />The Richardson House is architecturally significant as a highly characteristic and intact example of the Craftsman style. It was <br />built in 1918, for the head train conductor in Santa Ana according to one source (Zillow.com). The first known residents were <br />George R. and Doris Richardson. Born in 1887 in Iowa, Richardson apparently moved to Santa Ana and this house in 1921. <br />Richardson was a rancher. The Richardsons occupied this house until it was moved in 1949 by P. P. Prentice, perhaps in <br />anticipation of the construction of the Santa Ana freeway. Subsequently, the Richardsons lived at 420 North Lowell, and this <br />house saw a series of different occupants. Richardson died in 1973. <br />(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 3.) <br />B11.
