Also address integrity) <br />The Clem House was constructed in 1925 for Stanley Alva and Alice Clem. Mr. Clem was born on March 3, 1898. He served in <br />WWII in the Navy, and later became a sales manager for the Santa Ana Lumber Company. He was President of the Santa Ana <br />Junior Chambers of Commerce and an active member of the local Exchange Club. Mr. Clem was also very active in politics as he <br />actively participated in a purported recall of the entire City Council in 1930. He and Alice had one child, Gloria. He died on March <br />16, 1958 and was buried in Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego. However, he sold the house to the Kelly family in 1943. <br />(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 4.) <br />B11.
