Also address integrity) <br />The Henderson House was constructed in 1933 for Frank and Bertha Henderson and their two children, John and Mary. Mr. <br />Henderson was a Santa Ana City employee who worked in purchasing in the Finance Department. Bertha was a teacher. Just <br />prior to purchasing this house, Mr. Henderson became Superintendent of Schools for the Santa Ana School District. Mr. <br />Henderson was a champion for teachers who became unemployed due to the Depression, working diligently to rehire them and <br />securing federal funding (via Works Progress Administration) to to so. The Henderson's sold the house in 1951 upon retirement, <br />and moved to Burbank, California. Mr. Henderson passed away in 1954. The next homeowners were Raymond and Alice <br />Simpson, who owned the home for the next two decades until selling to Ron Morgan in 1979. <br />(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 4.) <br />B11.
