CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT OF THE SANTA ANA DELHI DIVERSION PROJECT <br />RFP NO. 14 -069 <br />NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS <br />Proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) will be accepted until 2:00 pm on Thursday, <br />November 13, 2014. Proposals received after this date and time will not be considered. <br />All notifications, updates and addenda will be posted on the City's RFP Bid page at santa- ana.org /bids -rips. <br />The proposing Firm shall be responsible for monitoring the site to obtain information regarding this solicitation. <br />Failure to respond to required updates may result in a determination of a nonresponsive proposal. Questions <br />regarding this RFP shall be made in writing via e-mail to the Principal Civil Engineer as identified on the cover. <br />A Mandatory Pre - Proposal Meeting is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the <br />address where the proposals are due. Failure to attend may result in a determination of a nonresponsive <br />proposal. <br />A Kick -Off Meeting will be held after the award of this contract by the City Council. The Consultant selected <br />and its team shall attend a mandatory meeting with City's staff to discuss project and schedule. A Notice to <br />Proceed (NTP) will be issued at this meeting. <br />The proposal package shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked clearly with following information <br />and formatted as follows: <br />"SEALED PROPOSAL FOR <br />RFP NO. 14 -069; DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT OF THE <br />SANTA ANA DELHI DIVERSION PROJECT <br />DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL." <br />City of Santa Ana <br />Attn.: Tyrone Chesanek <br />Public Works Agency; 20 Civic Center Plaza; 3rd Floor, Ross Annex, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />The proposal package may only be MAILED, HAND DELIVERED, OR COURIERED. ALL OTHER FORMS OF <br />DELIVERY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. <br />The FEE PROPOSAL shall be sealed in a separately envelope and shall be included within the proposal <br />package. <br />The City may require that DBE goals be applied for various tasks within this agreement and the Consultant <br />selected shall be prepared to comply with such goals per the latest federal /state requirements.
