ELEMENTS OF TRAINING <br />HOURS OF TRAINING <br />1. Fabrication of composite parts using pregreq epoxy resins with carbon, <br />fiberglass, kevlar, and quartz fibers. Employee must gain knowledge of <br />400 <br />using core products, such as metallic and non-metallic honeycomb. <br />Measurement Method: Q & A, task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate afproficiency <br />within first two Months and a half of training. <br />2. Lamination of prepreq materials as well as planning, lay -out, <br />fabrication and building adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and <br />120 <br />non metallic composite materials. <br />Measurement Method. Q & A, task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate of proficiency <br />within subsequent three and a half months. <br />3. Fabricating composite and metal parts into subassemblies using <br />bonding and hardware installation for curing in presses, ovens, and <br />120 <br />autoclaves. <br />Measurement Method. Q & A task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate of proficiency <br />within subsequent three and a half months. <br />4. Reading and interpreting work instructions, specifications sketches, job <br />travelers, planning documents and engineering drawings. <br />120 <br />Measurement Method. Q & A task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate of proficiency <br />within subsequent three and a half months. <br />5. Training will be required on use of autoclave, pneumatic tools for <br />trimming, drilling and bonding of hardware, use of technical devices for <br />200 <br />measurements, and gerber/ply cutting equipment. In addition, the <br />employee will need to have a strong understanding and knowledge of <br />safety procedures for equipment utilized including: Vacuum pumps, <br />heat sources, special hand tools, ladders, stands, mechanical stands, <br />hi -reach lifts. <br />Measurement Method., Q & A task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate of proficiency <br />within subsequent three and a half months. <br />RATING LEVELS: <br />Measurement method: how will it be determined if OJT participant acquired the skill? Q&A, observation, <br />product review/inspection, etc. <br />PROFICIENT MODERATE MARGINAL <br />II.
