EXHIBIT D <br />January 30, 2014 <br />71 St John Street <br />London EC1M 4N1 <br />Cheryl Eberly Tel: +4410)2071487666 <br />U5: 415 635.4701 <br />Principal Librarian www.wearewhetwedo.org <br />Young Adult/ Volunteer Services <br />Santa Ana Public Library <br />26 Civic Center Plaza <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Dear Ms. Eberly, <br />I'm writing to express our support for the Memories of Migration project, proposed by Santa <br />Ana Public Library, which we will provide technical development and design support for. <br />We Are What We Do (WAWWD) is a non - profit organization started In the east of London in <br />2003, and consists of a UK registered Community Interest Company (05241856), a Charitable <br />Foundation (1134546), and a California not-for-profit corporation with IRS 501(c)3 tax <br />exemption status. The Historypin project started in 2009 and we have 5 full time employees <br />dedicated to the project, in addition to support from our digital development team and creative <br />team. <br />We understand that We Are What We Do /Historypin will create the technical framework and <br />digital engagement strategy to support Memories of Migration, working closely with the Santa <br />Ana team and regional projects. There will be a specially designed Memories of Migration <br />website that will utilize the Historypin framework. Metadata for all User Generated Content <br />(UGC) will be available with an open license (specifically CCO, CC BY, or CC BY-SA), and the <br />content itself will also be openly licensed (CCO, CC BY, or CC BY -SA). The collection of UGC will <br />be managed through the Flistorypin platform. <br />Critical to the success of the project is a comprehensive workflow for content collection from <br />collection sessions. Content and Metadata will result in content appearing on Historypin, <br />highlighted in the Memories of Migrations project, and entered into the appropriate local library <br />content management system. Additionally, all content related to the project will be contributed <br />to the Internet Archive for long -term preservation. Website hosting and redundancy will be <br />assumed by Flistorypin for the duration of the project. <br />WAWWD Director of Evaluation Kathleen Collett will work closely with the Santa Ana Public <br />team to implement the evaluation plan designed to collect and aggregate information from all <br />of the participating Model Program partners. <br />Specifically, we will support the program through the following Description of Work, milestones, <br />and program deliverables: <br />Description of Work <br />The work defined in this work package is defined In the following tasks: <br />Task 1.1, Propose a framework for copyright and legal agreements for all partners and <br />contributors, <br />Task 1.2, Create a dual digital preservation workflow that will accommodate archiving and <br />cataloging by local Institutions as well as for the project as a whole on Internet Archive. <br />Page 1 of 3 We Ara What We no / Memories of migration <br />
