The participants described a space that opens early in the morning for seniors to use and enjoy. <br />Throughout the day there would be numerous activities and events focused on food, gardening and <br />agriculture. Late afternoon would have intergenerational activities, workshops, storytelling, music classes, <br />cooking and preparation for large community meals to be held in the evening. <br />The community members in Workshop 3 shared concerns about how the community could create a <br />system that would ensure that they are able to run and maintain a micro -farm for the long term. There <br />was consideration of running a pilot. Questions were also raised about the consequence of partnering <br />with the City. What if the city wants to take the land back? What is the process that can prevent that <br />from happening?
