BUSINESS CALENDAR <br />COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATION DISCLOSURE (REGARDING AGENDIZED <br />PROJECTS): <br />Commissioner Bauer disclosed that he spoke with David Schmid regarding agenda <br />item no. 3 (CUP 15 -11). <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Item No. 3 taken out of order. <br />3. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2015 -11 <br />(Applicant: Verizon Wireless) <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on May 13, 2015 and notices <br />mailed May 14, 2015. <br />A project overview was provided by Melanie McCann, Associate Planner. Ms. <br />McCann fielded questions from the commission related to drought- tolerant <br />landscaping and height of pine tree to be planted. Chairman Gartner opened the <br />public hearing. ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 2015 -02 <br />(Applicant: City of Santa Ana) <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Register on May 14, 2015. <br />Vince Fregoso, Interim Executive Director, explained that the proposal to amend the <br />Adaptive Reuse Ordinance was intended to allow additional time to review both the <br />Adaptive Reuse Ordinance and the Housing Opportunity Ordinance. However, <br />continued review of the subject matter after it was publicly noticed caused the <br />proposal's action to be continued indefinitely. Chairman Gartner opened the public <br />hearing.
